These States Are Offering Relief Payments of up to $1,500, Do You LIve In One?

California
Californians will get payments, dependent on income, tax filing status, and household size.

Single/Head of Household Taxpayers
who earn less than $75,000 will receive:

Taxpayers who earn $75,000 -- $125,000
will receive:
$500 with children
$250 no children.

Taxpayers who earn over $125,000 will receive:
$400 with children
$200 no children.


Colorado

Starting in August 2022,

Individual taxpayers will receive $750 

Joint taxpayers will receive $1,500


Delaware

Starting in July through October, 2022,

any resident who filed a tax return in the state in 2020 or 2021 will receive $300


Florida

Eligible families, including foster and adoptive, will receive $450 per child, one time payment.


DCF reports those eligible to receive the payment include both relative and non-relative caregivers, foster parents, some families who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and those who fall under the Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP).

Georgia

One time payment for residence who filed taxes:

If you’re married or filed with your spouse, will receive $500.

Heads of Households will receive $375

Single filers or those who filed separately will get $250.

 

Hawaii

One time tax refund starting in the last August 2022,

Thousands of Hawaii residents are set to get a one-

Less than $100,000 annually will receive a $300 rebate.

$100,001 to $200,000, then you’ll get $100.

Families with children could get more money.


Illinois

Earned less than $200,000 in income on your 2021 taxes you will receive $50 rebate.

Couples with earnings of less than $400,000 will receive $100

Filers will get $100 per child that are under 18 in their household.

Those with children can claim up to an additional $300.

The state is temporarily suspending grocery, gas, and property taxes.


Maine

Individual taxpayers with incomes of up to $100,000

Head of Household with incomes of up to $150,000

and Joint filers with incomes of up to $200,000

will receive $850


Massachusetts

Individuals who earn between $38,000 and $150,000,

will receive $250

Joint filers who earn up to $150,000 will receive $500


New Jersey

Starting in July, residents will receive $500.


New Mexico

Starting in August,

Single residents who earn less than $75,000 will receive $250

Married couples or Heads of Household who earn less than $150,000 will receive $500


South Carolina

After October 2022, residents who filed tax returns in 2021 will receive between $700 up to $800.


Virginia

Between September and October, 2022, residents who filed taxes before July 1, 2022 will receive up to:

$250 for individuals

and $500 for Married couples
